Overview
How weddings works
A wedding day is a sequence of small, irreversible moments — an aisle, a first look, a first dance. The saxophone is built to sit inside each of those moments rather than announce itself over them: a ceremony that breathes, a cocktail hour that holds conversation instead of competing with it, a reception that knows exactly when to lift. Every set is built around your day, not a template of one.

Questions
Answered plainly.
How far in advance should I check availability?
As early as you can — dates in peak wedding and festive months move quickly. Checking availability costs nothing and simply opens a conversation about your date.
What happens after I submit an enquiry?
You will hear back directly, by email or WhatsApp, to confirm the date is open and talk through the format that suits your event. Nothing is booked until both sides have agreed and signed.
How is a date actually secured?
A date is held for a short period while details are confirmed, then secured with a deposit. The deposit percentage and the length of that hold are being finalised — we will state both in writing before asking you to commit to anything.
When is the balance due?
The balance timing will be set out clearly in your booking confirmation, ahead of the event date.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms are confirmed in writing at the time of booking. We would rather be precise about this once than guess at it here.
Do you travel outside Durban?
Yes — performances take place worldwide. Travel and accommodation arrangements are discussed and agreed per event once the location is known.
Do you handle music licensing for the performance?
Licensing responsibility (for example SAMRO in South Africa) depends on the venue and territory — we will confirm who covers this for your event rather than assume it here.
Can the set list be tailored to us?
Yes. Repertoire is built around your ceremony, your room and the hours you need covered — a conversation, not a form.
What do you need from our venue?
A short technical conversation ahead of the date covers power, space and sound — kept simple enough that most venues need no special preparation.
