Cookie Notice

How this website uses cookies: a single essential cookie to remember your choice, and analytics that load only if you accept.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They can be used to remember your preferences or to measure how a site is used. This notice explains the cookies this website uses and how you can control them.

The one cookie we always set

When you make a choice on our cookie banner, we store a single essential first-party cookie, named "ys_consent", to remember that choice. This cookie exists only so that we do not ask you again on every page and so that we honour your decision. It does not track you and is not shared with anyone.

Because this cookie is strictly necessary to record and respect your consent choice, it is set regardless of whether you accept or decline analytics.

Analytics cookies (only if you accept)

We use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use this site so we can improve it. These tools are loaded ONLY after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner.

If you decline, Google Analytics and the Meta pixel are never loaded and set no cookies. They are off by default until you choose to accept.

At a high level, when enabled these tools set cookies that help distinguish and count visitors, remember whether you have visited before, measure which pages and referrals bring people to the site, and (for the Meta pixel) measure the effectiveness of advertising. They do not read the content of your booking enquiry.

The specific cookies these set

TODO(owner): add an exhaustive per-cookie table once the final Google Analytics and Meta pixel IDs are in place — listing each cookie name, its provider, its purpose and its duration. The exact cookie set (for example, Google's _ga and _ga_* cookies, and Meta's _fbp cookie) depends on the final configuration, so the precise names and expiry periods should be confirmed against the live tags before publishing.

Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can change your mind at any time. Clearing your browser cookies for this site (in particular the "ys_consent" cookie) will remove your stored choice, and the cookie banner will appear again on your next visit so you can choose differently. Declining then removes any analytics cookies going forward.

You can also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies generally, though doing so may affect how some websites work.

TODO(owner): if a persistent "Manage cookie preferences" link or settings panel is desired later (so visitors can re-open the banner without clearing cookies), note it here and link to it.
